Angela, I was going to say the same thing. I found the Laura Ingalls Wilder CDs were a huge hit, especially Farmer Boy for active boys. Very adventurous!

Have you tried audiobooks? Or letting them walk around while they read? My son actually meanders while I’m reading to him, but it helps him focus more than sitting still.

You know, a big part of reading is having the background knowledge to understand what you read, so being active is building their brains too! A book at bedtime might be all they need.
