I do it while reading in the morning and usually right around 4PM when we all get sleepy and when I have that second cup of coffee.

Thank you for writing this, so many people struggle this time of year and don’t know why. I only recently (the last 2 years) realized this is what I go through during the Winter.

I do believe this will be the best Winter yet though with all my tools.

It definitely is getting worse as I get older. This will be the third year we make a trip to Florida mid-winter. Getting a week of sunshine definitely helps! I think twinkle lights would really make a difference too. Going to try that this winter!

YES. It takes a LONG TIME to hike with kids, but I think the payoff is worth it. I will listen to an audiobook in the car and call the hike science/nature study. You’ve got to do what you’ve got to do 🙂
