My grandsons are currently very involved in dramatic play. By listening to them as they play, I realize how much their vocabulary is growing and how they are integrating setting, characters, and problem solving in their pretend play…all important skills that will make them better readers and writers!

Sometime They can help me with easy work. I see that cooking is a good way for children to open their mind and have a good knowledge about life. Thanks for your sharing that I can get more tips about teaching my children cook.

I love it, Jocelyn! And I’m sorry your whole family is sick. That’s the absolute worst! Feel better.

Oh, and I’m one of those “homestead” types with chickens, clothesline and homemade soap and I hate cooking!
